Pal's Place would love to introduce you to Reggie, one delightful, fun-loving, very friendly and affectionate pup in need of a loving home! Reggie was adopted from Pal's Place rescue in the fall of 2017 when he was just 3 months old. He was originally rescued from a high-kill shelter in Kentucky with his littermates. Unfortunately, Reggie's adopters had some major life changes and no longer felt they had the time to devote to Reggie so he's come back to us for placement. He is currently around 7 months old and about 45 pounds, so a great medium size! We are not expecting him to get too much larger. Reggie has a zest for life and is a well ... (Read More)adjusted, social and very friendly guy! He loves meeting new people and meeting new canine companions. He'll make a wonderful friend for a home looking for a young, playful dog. He is housebroken when kept on a regular schedule and is crate trained. His hobbies include playing fetch, long walks and wrestling with his foster brothers and sisters. Boxer Mix    Age: Young Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Meet Jeffrey, an adorable, sweetheart of a pup! This loving little boy was rescued from a kill shelter in Kentucky along with his mother (Layla) his 9 littermates when the pups were just 3 weeks old. All the pups in this litter are equally charming, cute and friendly. Five of the pups were born without tails and five have normal long tails, only adding to the uniqueness of this special group! Mom is a gentle and friendly dog, we think she may be a Boxer/Aussie mix (possibly some hound in there too!) and the father was unknown. Momma weighs in around 55 pounds and we are expecting the pups to be a similar size when fully grown. Since we do ... (Read More)not know the exact mix of these pups though, this is merely an educated guess and they could end up maturing to be larger or smaller dogs than we are estimating. Jeffrey is an extremely sweet and silly pup and he will make a fun-loving companion. Jeff or any of his littermates will make wonderful companions for households with the time, patience and energy to raise a young pup. These delightful little muppets will be ready to leave for their new homes on or after 2/23, however, we are accepting applications for them now. At the time of adoption, they will be 9 weeks old, have had at least two series of puppy vaccines and de-wormer and a microchip before being placed. They will also be spayed/neutered. The adoption donation per pup is $375 and it helps to offset their medical expenses while in our care.     Meet Layla, an absolutely gorgeous female Boxer mix in need of a loving forever home. She's estimated to be around 2 years old and weighs in around 55 pounds. This angelic girl was rescued from a kill shelter in Kentucky with her 10 precious pups when the babies were just 3 weeks old. She's now in a safe and nurturing foster home where she has proven to be a remarkable mother to her pups and an all-around wonderful dog! Jack Russell Mix    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Low Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Meet Charley, an adorable, sweet, feisty 12 pound, 12+ year old male Jack Russell. This little fellow is a gentle and loving dog and deserves a warm and loving home for his golden years. This sweet boy was found as a stray in rural KY. He's got several scars on his body and has very few teeth left, so we are guessing he has not had a very easy time in life so far. We are hoping to find a home that will treasure him and love him like he deserves for his retirement years! Charley may be up there in age, but like most JRT's he still has lots of personality, spunk, and love to give! Charley loves attention and affectionate and will make a nice ... (Read More)little lap dog for a household with a quiet lifestyle. He is being fostered with other dogs and does well with them. He does seem to be a bit hard of hearing and startles easily when he's sleeping, so he would not be an ideal match for a home with very young children. He is quiet and well behaved in the home and is crate trained and house trained. This charming fellow will bring a lot of happiness and love to one lucky home, could it be yours?! Charley's adoption donation is $200. He was recently vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. He has also just had a dental cleaning and senior blood panel done and is on heartworm and flea prevention. He is a healthy senior! Charley is eager to meet you! He is currently being fostered in Chicago and can be seen by appointment once an application has been received and approved.
